This images is from late in the day looking out towards Christmas Lake. Our neighbor's driveway is beyond the trees winding it's way down to the lake. I was enamored with the long shadows being casted from the trees.
This is my big contribution to our clean-up effort. John thought the North West pilots might appreciate my efforts. I carved this in the backyard, and took the picture from the deck. Since I can't write messages in the sand I'll go for the next best thing - snow!
The snow has finally stopped falling. We ended up with about 6 inches on the ground, not a terrible clean-up. The sun broke out later in the day, it felt so good and really picked-up our spirits. The Sunset started around 4pm (arctic north) beautiful pink streaks through the sky.
