Images of the Pacific Punchbowl, a cemetery where over 22,000 military personal are buried, from all wars, not specifically WWII.
It's true, this is a postcard, better than what I can do since I have no way of flying overhead and snapping this picture!
First stop, Pearl Harbor. The memorial building is so cool and retro. The museum is very informative and gives an excellent account of the day.
Diamond Head in the background. Honolulu has really grown up since last time I was here, 1971!
The Aloha Tower was where our cruise boat was docked. It is a really nice port close in to lots of action. John reminded me as I was getting dressed one morning that the office people in the tower could probably see me in my nakedness, so sorry for all!
