John and I went home for a visit to see our parents. We made lots of discoveries, much of which we knew from growing up in this part of the world but so nice to rediscover!Royal Palms beach just down the road in San Pedro.

This image is of the Casino in Avalon over on the island of Catalina. Catalina is roughly 26 miles off the coast (from the LA harbor and light house).

One of my favorite things to do when I go home, a canyon crawl. Love to hike around the canyons! Lots of great trails to discover!
